As I have said previously, San Antonio is an amazing place for foodies. Not only do we have amazing restaurants, but the food truck scene is scrumptious!

While you will definitely see a lot of taco trucks around San Antonio (and I am convinced they are all delicious) there is a huge range of food options. From Mediterranean to Asian cuisine, from desserts to pizza, there’s a little something for everyone.

Seriously, I am convinced that you could eat at a new food truck every day and still not hit all of them.

There are food trucks located all over the city so you will never be far from enjoying some unique food made right in front of you. There are plenty of trucks parked around the city, there are also tons of food truck parks where you can get a whole variety of options in one spot. Most of the parks also include bars and tons of seating so you can grab your grub, get a drink and take a load off.

Let’s be honest, who doesn’t love a good food truck?

Here are some of our favorites:

El Remedio Taco Truck- This food truck is a San Antonio staple and people place orders days ahead of time in hopes of getting a plate of their signature birria tacos. Besides their drool-worthy tacos, they also serve up some fantastic ceviche and even some sushi.

Project Pollo- For all of our vegetarian friends, Project Pollo has quickly become a San Antonio favorite serving up plant-based “chicken” sandwiches, chicken nuggets and sides. Their food is so good you won’t even know that it isn’t real meat!

Tacos El Regio- This is hands down one of my favorite food trucks in the city. They usually park outside of the bars on the St. Mary’s Strip but they are good whether you need a late night taco fix or just looking to grab some dinner. Their tacos are to die for; the meat is deliciously seasoned and the salsa perfectly spicy.

Holy Smoke BBQ+Taquitos- Why not combine two of Texas’s favorite things: Tex-Mex and barbeque? Holy Smoke offers the best of both worlds with tacos, sandwiches and all the best fixings (including a brisket mac and cheese) so you can get a perfect taste of Texas all in one spot.

King of Shawarma and Kabab- This truck is delicious and serves some classic Mediterranean dishes. You can grab a gyro, shawarma or kabob served up with rice, salad and hummus that tastes like it came straight from the isles of Greece.

Cosmicone- For some deliciously fancy snow cones you have to check out Cosmicone. I can guarantee you’ve never had shaved ice like this before, their treats are doctored up with all sorts of treats, whipped cream and syrups. It leaves your average state fair snow cone to shame.

Satisfried- Their slogan says it all: a healthy-ish spin on your favorite fat kid food. And it doesn’t disappoint, you can choose their different flavors to fill a slider, taco or a full-fledged sandwich. This is the perfect place if you want some comfort food, but don’t want to feel guilty about cheating on your diet.
